zambiaZambian Community in Pittsburgh
Zambians have a huge community of over 300 people in Pittsburgh. We have a community association named “Association of Zambians in Pittsburgh” (AZIP).

The purpose of AZIP is to promote Zambian heritage, and encourage networking with other Zambian and African organizations in the United States so we can better our lives. The organization strives to encourage members to participate in activities that uplift one another in times of need. Executives meetings are held once a month, while the general association members meet every three months.

The Zambian Association maintains good membership with the Union of African Communities in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
